Brandied Cranberries

Recipe from Diana Nicholson

Ingredients:

  • 2 (12 oz.) bags fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup brandy OR Grand Marnier

Directions:

  1. Place cranberries in a single layer on a lightly greased jellyroll pan. (Important to have in single layer on a pan with sides.)
  2. Pour sugar over cranberries.
  3. Cover tightly with foil.
  4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  5. Spoon cranberries into serving bowl. Gently sir in brandy.
  6. Cool.
  7. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
  8. Great to make ahead.
