Apple Salad

I've used this recipe as a salad or made it and kept it in the refrigerator to eat for breakfast. It reminds me of apple pie. |
Recipe from Sharon McGuire.
Ingredients:
- 2 apples peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple undrained
- 1/2 cup raisons
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt + ground cinnamon and nutmeg to taste or 1 small container of apple yogurt
- toasted pecans
Directions:
- Put chopped apples in a bowl and pour pineapple over apples and mix (The pineapple juice keeps the apples from turning brown)
- Drain the apples
- Add raisons
- Add yogurt
- Mix well
- Add pecans
