Baking Soda as Silver Polish

It is amazing how well this works.

Ingredients:

• ¼ cup baking soda
• a few teaspoons salt
• 1 quart boiling water

Directions:

1. Place aluminum foil in the bottom of a pot
2. Place silver pieces on foil
3. Add soda and salt
4. Pour boiling water over items
5. Cover for a few seconds
6. A chemical reaction that gets the black off the silver pieces
