Lemon Sorbet
Recipe from Southern Living June 1993
Yield: 4 cups
Ingredients:
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
Directions:
- Combine boiling water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Let cool.
- Add lemon rind and juice.
- Pour mixture into a 9-inch square pan;
- Freeze until firm.
- Let mixture stand at room temperature 10 minutes before serving.
