Lemon Sorbet
Recipe from Southern Living June 1993
Yield: 4 cups
Ingredients:
3 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
1/2 cup lemon juice
Directions:
Combine boiling water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Let cool.
Add lemon rind and juice.
Pour mixture into a 9-inch square pan;
Freeze until firm.
Let mixture stand at room temperature 10 minutes before serving.
