Quick and Easy Peach Cobbler

Yield: 8 to 10 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 large can peaches with light syrup or 8 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced into thin wedges
Cinnamon Sugar
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Peal peaches
- Easy way to peal Peaches - Place the peaches in boiling water for about 60 seconds, remove and plunge into cold water. The skins should slip right off.
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Melt butter in 9x13 oblong Pyrex baking dish.
- Mix flour and sugar thoroughly.
- Stir in milk and egg until well blended, do not beat.
- Pour into dish over melted butter. (Do not stir.)
- Pour heated peaches over this. (Do not stir.)
- Optional: Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
