Blueberry Cobbler

Yield:

Ingredients for Crust:

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk

Ingredients for Filling:

  • 2 pounds fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

  1. Preheating oven to 350° F.
  2. Greasing a 9×13 baking pan.
  3. Whisk sugar, flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add butter, using a pastry cutter to combine.
  5. Add milk and stir.
  6. Pour mixture into the greased pan.
  7. Pour blueberries on top.
  8. Sprinkle sugar over the blueberries and pour hot water over sugar.
  9. Dot top of cobbler with butter.
  10. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
