Millionaire Cake - (Pineapple Cake)
This is a recipe from my Aunt. She put this recipe in the Fairview Baptist Church cookbook in 1993. She was a wonderful cook and a faithful Christian. |
Recipe from Aunt Leora Lynn
Yield: a 9 x 13 sheet cake
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1-20 oz can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients
- Pour into a 9" x 13" pan
- Bake at 350° for30 minutes or until brown.
Cream Cheese Icing
Ingredients:
- 1-8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 pound box powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients
- Spread on cooled cake
