Earthquake Cake

Yield: 9x13 sheet cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 box (16 oz) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cut waxed paper to fit 9x13 pan or tube cake pan and grease and flour.
  2. Spread nuts in pan
  3. Layer coconut
  4. Mix cake mix as directed and pour over coconut
  5. Melt margarine
  6. Add cream cheese and Mix
  7. Add powdered sugar and mix until blended
  8. Pour over cake mix
  9. Bake 350° for 60 minutes or until done.
  10. Cool and invert on serving tray.
